In the plenary session there are 32 subjects in five sub-themes including methanol economy and blue economy and India’s efforts to achieve it and CRISPR-CAS9 (gene editing).

Methanol economy refers to a probable future economy in which methanol and dimethyl ether replace fossil fuels as a means of energy storage, Methanol can be produced from many Sources, as against the fossil fuel-based ethanol economy.

roads laid, Water fountains restored and flower saplings planted alongside the roads. According to SVU Vice-Chancellor Prof. A. Damodaram about 24 hostels, 34 seminar halls, 1,600 hostel rooms in the SVU are being renovated for the ISC. “We will develop the SVU as Green Campus, where the entire campus will get a facelift,” he said.
